Stepping into Cottage Pie was like stepping into a fairy tale. Gina has so carefully and thoughtfully created a space where the amazing attention to detail, both in the look and feel but also the function, is very evident. A real gem. Becky and I loved our stay here. Paul (Airbnb June 2024)

What a unique and stunning property, I felt privileged to stay there. The attention Gina and her partner have gone too is extraordinary. If you are in the area I’d highly recommend staying here. I will be back! Colin (Airbnb May24)

It’s a beautifully presented little cottage with real character – 250 years old – and it’s a great location for exploring the northern part of the Peak. Spotlessly clean and rooms nicely furnished. Easy walk to centre of town with good restaurants, pubs etc.  Nick (Airbnb May 24)

Fantastic house. We loved our stay. Looks as good if not better than the photos (and that says something). Host had thought of everything. Very well appointed house, lots of attention to detail, and made with a lot of love. Don’t doubt staying here. Nigel (Airbnb April 24)

Our stay at Cottage Pie was a magical experience. Gina has the most wonderful flair and the house is beautifully presented in the most wonderfully homely, cosy way. Her thoughtful touches of leaving sweets and biscuits and flowers all around the place just completed the whole experience. The house is conveniently located near all the amenities you could wish for – Aldi, Lidl, and some wonderful eateries close by. The weather was terrible during our stay but with wood for the fire provided, there was nowhere else we’d rather have been than snuggled under the blankets at Cottage Pie. And with the Harry Potter connection, our son absolutely loved it. Thank you, Gina…(currently trying to think up an excuse to book a second visit…) Nathen. (Airbnb April 24)
